2024 REP TEAMS

Registration is Open

All Rep players U9, U11, U13 and U15 have to play house League for the season.

The U13 and U15 ages will be combined (if Needed) so that non-rep players will be playing in a true house league program. 

Any Rep players can register and pay for House League to start the season. You can register for Rep and if successful at making a Rep team, you can complete the payment portion of registration.

U19 Players must register. If you are successful at making the Rep team, you can complete the payment portion.

TRYOUTS

Anticipated for Mid April Times and Dates will be posted (Field conditions dependant)

Tryout fee -TBD [Includes 4 Tryout sessions & OLA annual insurance and fees]

PRACTICES

  • West Orillia Sports Complex (Rotary Place Fields) - 100 University Avenue, Orillia

  • Mondays and Thursdays - Times, TBD

  •  Please do not double book yourself on practice nights in accordance with commitment requirements.  If you anticipate conflicts that you would like to discuss please do not hesitate to contact us directly in advance of tryouts.

SEASON

​Rep teams compete against other centres Ontario in the Ontario Womens Field Lacrosse (OWFL) league.  OWFL games begin in late May and conclude in late July. 

Games are played mainly on weekends throughout Ontario.

There will be no games on the July 1st long weekend.

EQUIPMENT

Goggles - OWFL is mandatory goggles for U9 to U19 in the 2024 season. Lady Kings are mandated goggles for all Rep and house league players.

 

Mouth Guards - All players, including the goalkeeper, must properly wear a professionally manufactured mouth guard that fully covers the upper teeth.   The mouth guard shall be of any readily visible colour other than colourless or white and must not have graphics of teeth.   Mouth guards must not be altered to decrease protection and field players must remove protruding tabs.

 

Stick Rules - Change this year so that most sticks are now 'legal' - not many considered 'illegal'.
