ABOUT FALL SIXES
Orillia Minor Lacrosse and the Orillia Lady Kings are excited to offer programming in support of Ontario Lacrosse’s launch of its Sixes sector. Sixes is a fast-paced, compact format of lacrosse introduced by World Lacrosse in 2018, designed to showcase speed, skill, creativity, and continuous action. This new format helps make lacrosse more accessible and approachable while supporting player development and expanding competitive opportunities across the province.
TRYOUTS
Tryouts will be scheduled if needed, depending on registration numbers.
PRACTICES

West Orillia Sports Complex (Rotary Place Fields) - 100 University Avenue, Orillia

Mondays and Thursdays - Times, TBD
**Monday practices may not take place for some age groups while house league is running and will be decided by the coach and league
Cost and Divisions

Registration cost will be $250

Age divisions being offered U9, U11 and U13
EQUIPMENT
Goggles - OWFL is mandatory goggles for U9 to U19. Lady Kings are mandated goggles for all Rep and house league players.
Mouth Guards - All players, including the goalkeeper, must properly wear a professionally manufactured mouth guard that fully covers the upper teeth. The mouth guard shall be of any readily visible colour other than colourless or white and must not have graphics of teeth. Mouth guards must not be altered to decrease protection and field players must remove protruding tabs.
Stick Rules - Change this year so that most sticks are now 'legal' - not many considered 'illegal'.
